BHSH was created by Richard Folland as an evolving source of design information covering varying interior and external aspects of homes and businesses. For many decades Richard has been involved in various aspects of domestic and commercial design, including FF&E, project management and commercial /domestic re-development. He also holds a BA (Hons) in interior architectural design from Ravensbourne University with projects featured both on TV and in design publications.

The goal of BHSH is to provide easily accessible quality design information to help people with their development or refurbishment aspirations. As well as covering the main areas of property design we include essential technical and style guidance for a balanced overall view, helping to avoid costly project mistakes. 

 

Our subject guides cover the main areas of both the home and business environment, with further updates arriving soon. This will include advice on home extensions and independent product reviews, as well as diving deeper on subjects such as lighting and furniture choice.
